Hey, I'm Gaurav — the designer & developer behind 3 SAT.
I started 3 Steps Ahead Technology in 2007 with one straightforward goal: help businesses look and perform better online. Nearly two decades, 300+ projects, and clients across four continents later, that goal hasn’t changed.
I’ve worked with pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, tech startups, engineering firms, and everything in between. What every one of those projects taught me is that a business can be outstanding at what it does and still be let down by how it looks and shows up online.
That’s the gap I close. Through websites, design, and visual storytelling built with purpose — not just pixels.
The Story
Nearly two decades of building brands that actually work.
I didn’t start 3SAT by accident. I finished my MBA at Nirma University in 2007 and made a deliberate choice — to build something of my own rather than fit myself into a corporate structure.
What started as a one-person operation in Ahmedabad grew steadily into a full-service creative agency, earning the trust of clients not just locally but across the UK, US, Australia, Canada, and South Africa.
Every year taught me something new. Every client challenged me to get better. And every project was an opportunity to prove that good design and great development, done with genuine care, make a real difference to a business.
Graduated with a BCA from Gujarat University — the foundation of every technical decision I've made since. Discovered a love for how design and development could work together to solve real problems.
Completed my MBA at Nirma University and launched 3SAT from Ahmedabad. First clients were local businesses who needed websites that actually worked — not just looked decent. Built the agency from the ground up, project by project.
Started working with businesses in the UK and US — which meant adapting to different markets, different expectations, and different standards. It raised the bar for everything we produced.
Clients kept asking for more — graphic design, photography, video, social media. We expanded because the need was real and we could do it well. Every new service was added with quality as the non-negotiable.
Made the decision to focus entirely on 3SAT — no side projects, no part-time commitments. Every project since has had my full attention. That decision changed the quality of everything we delivered.
18+ years in, serving clients across India, the UK, the US, Australia, Canada, and South Africa. Still based in Ahmedabad. Still the same commitment to doing work that genuinely moves businesses forward.

18 years means I’ve seen what works and what doesn’t. If there’s a better approach to what you’re trying to achieve, I’ll say so. You’re paying for my experience, not just my ability to follow a brief.

Every project gets my full attention
I don’t take on more work than I can deliver well. When your project is live, it has my focus — not split between twelve other clients. Quality matters more to me than volume. It always has.
